The Bioanalytical Mass Spectrometry Facility (BMSF), at UNSW's upper and lower campus sites, provide advanced mass spectrometric research capabilities.
The BMSF staff maintain an up-to-date range of instruments for many types of analysis. They also provide access to their experise
as measurement scientists to either undertake analysis for you or support your research by training you or your research
staff/students to operate the mass spectrometers and separation devices in the facility.
If your research requires significant intellectual input from BMSF scientists the staff at the BMSF will offer collaborative assistance.
This may involve extensive participation in experiment design, method development, data analysis and interpretation.
Many researchers who use the BMSF seek assistance in writing parts of their research grants in order to support the access costs of using
the equipment.
See also free access for UNSW honours students.
